We have a brand new baby girl !!
I know it's been a while since I've even changed my blog. Things have been a little crazy. For the last nine months, I have been pregnant . I have been super busy trying to keep up with my 3 children and preparing for another one. I have finally taken a leave from teaching gymnastics, volunteering at the school and heading up cubscouts.
We did go on a little family vacation to Las Vegas with the kids in March. It was quite fun, but being almost9 months pregnant almost did me in.
We finally have a baby to show off along with our other three beautiful children.
Things have quieted down a little bit, I am home a lot more and am now adjusting to a having a little baby again. We were exstatic that Baby Sophie was born April 21, 7 lbs, 1 oz . It was the easiest labor of all, (besides the fact she kept wanting to turn right side up and be breech. ) All it took was 4 pushes and she was born! So far she has been the best baby. Of course I have lots of little helpers who also love her so much and fight over who gets to hold her first. Their common complaint is that she sleeps too much, I don't complain at all. She has been the best baby so far, i'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll stay that way.

Oahu,hawai
We also stayed on Oahu and went diving with the sharks. At first I was really nervous but volunteered us to go first, because I thought there wouldn't be as many sharks, ooh how wrong I was. It was pretty awesome, we were able to be in the water for 30 minutes and it went by fast, sharks are fascinating to watch. We had to constantly keep our hands and feet in check. These are galapogos sharks, a female tiger joined in at the end, she was huge!
This is after we were in the water, see the guy kid in the back, he was just standing on the back of the boat grill feeding the sharks by hand, We thought for sure his toes were going to be bitten. He didn't even flinch when the Tiger shark c
ame up for a bite. CRAZY!!!!
All in all this was definately an experience we won't forget. Taylor is prettty bummed he couldn't do it, perhaps when he's older.
Kaui,Summer 2008
For our 1oth anniversary ,Steve and I went to Hawaii. It was awesome. It was the first time I had been away from the kids. I did just fine and the kids loved having grandma babysit. It was soo peaceful and quiet on Kaui, we didn't want to leave and come home to our chaotic life. We took a day cruise around the Island. The Napali coast is really breathtaking! We stopped for lunch and went snorkeling. The water was crystal clear. It was really relaxing feeling the breeze. We saw a lot of dolphins and some sea tutles too. There were a few on the boat that got sea sick, thank goodness we didn't. This is a view from our hotel, it was a pretty nice hotel, They even offered us champagne , pineapple and nightly turned down service with chocolates left on our pillows, Wow , now I really felt spoiled. They probably thought we were crazy to decline the champagne and have bottled water instead. The grounds were beautiful with many gardens and waterfalls.
